Annie Ok is a Creative Director and Strategist specialized in innovative content integrated with cultural insight, digital/social media, and emerging technology to produce compelling experiences.

She worked on campaigns for HBO, FX, Warner Bros, Marvel Studios, DC Entertainment, Paramount Pictures, NBCUniversal, Showtime, Alcon Entertainment, 20th Century Fox, Universal Pictures, Ridley Scott Associates, Syfy, MTV, STX Entertainment, Herschel Supply Co, Sony Computer Entertainment, and Nokia.

As Associate Partner NYC | Creative Director at Glass Eye, she led groundbreaking activations for major entertainment brands at Comic-Con, E3, South by Southwest, VidCon, TCA Press Tour, and NYC's Times Square, with Glass Eye's experiential services toolkit: Green Eye.

Project Co-Lead, Creative Lead, and Creative Direction for Glass Eye on HBO's acclaimed SXSWestworld which earned 1.9 billion media impressions and numerous accolades: Titanium Cannes Lions Shortlist; Gold Cannes Lion, Outdoor, Immersive Experiences; Grand Clio, Entertainment; Gold Clio, Branded Content; Silver Clio Branded Entertainment; Gold Event Marketer Award; two Campaign Event Awards; and SXSW Creative Experience “Arrow” Winner, Best Immersive Experience.

Led social media strategy on the Watchmen transmedia campaign which was recognized as a Webby Awards Official Honoree.

Initiated the world's first augmented reality application for a movie campaign for Star Trek. Helped set a precedent for markerless AR using facial tracking for Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, and another for incorporating gesture recognition to control the UI for Iron Man 2's AR.

Guest Critic at Parsons The New School for Design's LittleBigPlanet Collab game design course and Massachusetts Institute of Technology/Parsons' Machinima Collab game design and filmmaking course.

Judge, panelist, and presenter at the Academy of Machinima Arts and Sciences' Machinima Film Festival.

Worked with Stanford University and the Web History Center on the Preserving Virtual Worlds project, part of the Library of Congress Digital Preservation Program.

Collaborated with artist Doug Aitken for his loaded 5x ada'web project for the 1997 Whitney Biennial at The Whitney Museum of American Art in New York and New Sexual City installation for the 2006 Guangzhou Triennial at the Guangdong Museum of Art in China.

Created limited edition hand-made exhibition books for Alleged Press and Purple Institute.
